Due to unfortunate circumstances.  Chrismatnic Gaming Center is closing its doors.  Hopefully this won’t be the last you see of the gamecenter.  I apologize for any inconvience this caused anyone.  And how to see all of our members when we re-open Chrismatnic gaming center

After much consideration and number crunching it has been decided to lower prices universally to $3 per hour, $20 for a Daypass, and$25 lockin/tournaments for all members.

There will no longer be a membership level system.  I found this quite counter-productive. To all members that purchased the premium level membership you will still have access to all the perks that came with the membership.  Anyone who has played in my gamecenter knows that just buying the membership initially was cheaper then our standard pricing.

So come enjoy the on going frag fest at the gamecenter!

This is the results from the Tournament and Lockin hosted this weekend.  I hope everyone had alot of fun.  The overal tournament points are going to go into a running tally and eventually kept upto date on the website so our tournament players can judge who their competition is.

Our ranking system was derived from an 8 place system with a point base for each position. These were tallied for all the tournaments hosted that night and was used to determine the over all winner.

Points system was as follows.

Chrismatnic has been given the privledge to beta test the upcoming game Heroes of Newerth.  If you have ever played DoTA and enjoyed the game you know quite well what this game is.  It is designed by the same team that created the Defense of the Ancients mod for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne.

So come in and give this new title a try before anyone else can play it.

We will be having a Quake 3: Arena Team Death Match Tournament/ Lock-in Saturday August 1

It will start at 9pm and end at 8am Sunday morning.  The cost will be 25 dollars per person and it will ensure you a seat, an entry into the COD4 Tournament, and Pizza!

Prizes for the tournament will be:

1st: 1 month Unlimited Play Pass

2nd: 5 Hours Free Play

3rd: 2 Hours Free Play

So be there and make sure you get your seat for this event!

Chrismatnic is running a Monday Madness special for today only.  Just mention “Bananas love COD” at the register and Premium Members will be able to buy time at $2/hour and Basic Members will be able to buy time at $3/hour!

Well I went to gamestop today and nostalgia hit me.  Sitting on a shelf looking all lonely was a PC version of Halo.  So I bought it along with my Aion Pre-Order and brought them back into the center and installed Halo.  This game is apparently still going extremely strong online and I’ve already played for 4 hours straight.  Hopefully we can get some old school LAN games going with Halo.

We are going to be installing 2 new titles (Okay well new to Chrismatnic) this weekend and will have them ready for play Monday July 6th.

The first title by popular demand is Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 and the second will be Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor.

These are both very solid RTS games and hope for them to see many hours of play at the center.

Chrismatnic has moved to Jacksonville inside of Game Zone Alpha on 315 Dupree Drive.  All customers that had an account while we were located at Stage 2 Games still have an account with us at our new location.  I apologize for the inconvience to our loyal customer and hope to continue to have your patronage.
